Shade in the Dog Park

Since the addition of our fenced-in dog park in July of 2022, many of our guests have thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to socialize and exercise their furry friends off-leash. This play area has been among the most-loved aspects of Peachtree Cove, one for which campers come back. However, during the summers especially, we’ve received one comment more than any other: the need for shade. This being one of the only parts of the park not surrounded in mature foliage, guests have reported that the mid-afternoon sun while watching their pets is sometimes unbearable. We are grateful for your patience as we have worked to find a solution, and are now excited to announce that the day for that solution has arrived!

Shade in the Dog Park

We have installed two 12’x12’x17′ shade kites (one at each end of the fenced in area) for your enjoyment. These sails are also waterproof, so run to them for cover during mountain rain showers when your furry friend is not yet done playing.

Come to Peachtree Cove this summer to experience for yourself the bright warm sunshine, lush green grass, fresh mountain breeze, and breathtaking views in the mountains of western North Carolina. We look forward to meeting you!

Hurricane Helene Update

We are praising the Lord for His protection of Peachtree Cove and the surrounding area from Hurricane Helene. While the damage is devastating in other parts of the state from severe flooding and high winds, Andrews and Murphy were spared the brunt of the storm.

We are continuing to welcome guests and are anticipating a great October. If you haven’t yet made your reservations, give us a call to do so. We look forward to hearing from you!
