So many wonderful things to say about this campground! We were driving through Murphy looking for a place to camp and noticed this place. First we loved it because of all the shade trees and all of the sites were right on the river! We love the running water. It was beautiful landscaped throughout the entire campground and we knew we were going to stay here because we saw the entire family (the owners) all out working hard on the property. Husband, wife and 5 children. Nice to see that kids are being raised to work and be respectful. Once we were set up at our site we went down to the office and the family was there welcoming us even offered us a sandwich. We noticed the pride they took in their campground and the children (all over age 11 looked like) were very respectful as we talked. We loved our stay there even through the rain. The cleanest and most homey. It was the nicest privately owned campground we have stayed in and we are ready to book our next trip here. The family drove through and checked on us several times and allowed us to stay a little later after checkout. No site is a bad site! They are all great! Bathhouse is immaculate! Support this campground! They care about you! Thanks Neely family for a happy stay at Peachtree Cove 😊
Hands down, the most peaceful campground!Streams running through the park, a river at the far end—the grounds were so well maintained and flowers beds in bloom throughout the park. For the guests use, they have a pavilion with picnic tables, a fire pit with chairs all around.I was impressed already, but the owners, the Neely family walked through one evening just to say hello and greet everyone .Cannot say enough, except, just go!
Best RV park in our 2000+ mile trip. We enjoyed our stay SOOO much it could have been a destination instead of a stop. Fabulous. Looked like all sites were good in this small park. Landscaping and a meandering layout provide privacy. River or stream at each site and beautiful walkways. We had FHU on the river in a pull-thru spot which is rare.An elderly gentleman lawyer and his dog live nearby. He comes here on his walks and visits with campers so inclined. My husband enjoyed talking with him enormously. The owner lives across the road as well and was very nice and accommodating. They have only been the owners for a year or two, I believe, and are doing a fantastic job.
Very nice Family own and run the park. very scenic views with babbling creek running through the middle of the park, backed by a small mountain and and boarded by a clear river. Around 24 sites. Very Well maintained. Just far enough off the highway and 6 miles from town.
Such friendly owners. Campgrounds are immaculate. Spots 12, 15, 16, 17, are all by the river. Nice and shady. Price is right for full hookups. This will definitely be our go to place when traveling on the peaceful side of the Smokies. One word of advice though if you are traveling in a motorhome or without a toad vehicle stop for ice and supplies before you get there. No camp store or stores in walking distance. And once you get there and hook up you aren't going to want to leave.Stayed November 2020 in a Class A motorhome.
Cleanest and most beautiful facility in the state. The owners see to it you are satisfied. Trees and flowers abound and grass is carefully trimed and trees and bushes pruned almost daily. You'll love it!
What a wonderful experience we had!! You will not regret a visit to this campground. We would give it 10 stars if we could! The owners and family we're so helpful and accommodating. All the positive reviews we read were 100% accurate. The campground is beautiful and so clean!! Made reservations to visit again soon and we can hardly wait!!
If you like shade, this is your RV park! It is a friendly family owned campground with nice sized shady lots. Even better, each lot is on the creek. The bath house has large showers, the laundry room has 1 washer and 1 dryer. The only drawback is road noise that is noticeable during work hours 7:30am - 8:30am and 5pm-6pm. We would definitely return!
We stayed for several days at this park and we will definitely be back. Restrooms and showers were super clean. The owners were very friendly and responsive to any need. Park was almost at full capacity and it still didn’t feel crowded. Lots of shade trees and all sites are on the creek or the river. Happy to give this RV park 5 full stars.
We stayed here for several nights in June 2020. This family run campground is very clean and neat, very pretty surroundings. Everyone is very professional and friendly. I even got a text message from the owners when there was a severe thunderstorm warning . No cable, but internet worked well. It is convenient to anywhere in the area, as it is next to highway. There is a bit of highway noise, not bad enough to keep me away. River runs through it. :) Look forward to making a return trip.
Very nice place with flower gardens thru out, owners are very friendly and it is a great place to relax and listen to the running creek bed I highly recommend
Fabulous! A very relaxing place with lots of shade. 92 Prevost XL CC looks, feels and enjoys the shade also! If you want a spot that you just want to relax and enjoy this part of North Carolina, this could be it. No pool, no golf cart track or decks and underpinnings. Go stay there, if you can't chillax, I will refund your money!
Very Nice Park... I was lucky to get in on Labor Day Weekend. The Owners are very nice people and the park is quiet , clean and our site was beautiful. I plan on visiting again
Everything about this park is nice! Very friendly owners. The grounds are very well kept with a pretty creek running through it. Highly recommend 👍🏼 We enjoyed our stay 😊
What a gem! This is the sweetest little campground and very close to Murphy. Could not have asked for better accommodations. The bathhouse was clean and well stocked. The sweet family the owns it could not have been more helpful and gosh, are they Workers. Their hard work is certainly visible in the neat, well maintained campground. Will plan to return frequently for a camping get away only 5 miles from my house!
A quiet and Peaceful place to stay. Shady with a stream that runs thru the campground. It’s Family owned and is a Good Sams Club Campground, one of the best campgrounds we’ve stayed at.
Great place to stay. Beautiful river, and creeks throughout. Lots of shade, and the park is kept clean, and landscaped. The owners are friendly and helpful. If you find yourself in Murphy, NC, definitely give Peachtree Cove a try.
Stayed here 2 years ago for week of July 4th with my husband who has since past away. Kathy was the owner then & if I didn't leave a review then I would have left a 5. And I hope 1 day to be able to come back & meet the new owners & enjoy that "heaven on earth" again! Absolutely love this place!
This is one of the best kept secrets of the North Carolina Mountains peaceful, tranquil, fishing available and not far from the casino if you don't stay here you've really missed out what North Carolina's got to offer.
I got spoiled on our first camping trip, this place was beautiful with a creek flowing thru several feet from my back window so sleeping was the best in years!!! The people running the park are personable and friendly. The.neighbors near the park became like family. We’re Already planning our next trip back and this will always be home away from home for us! We have stayed in two places coming back home and they don’t even compare to our Peachtree!!! Thank you ♥️
Our weekend was absolutely perfect! The breeze off the water, the shade of the trees and the quietness was what we needed to relax. The owners are very helpful, kind and have transformed this campground from the previous owner (Creekside RV Park). Stop by, you will enjoy as much as we did.
Been here for a while and not a single complaint! Love the land and the creek going right thru the campground. Facilities are always clean. Great neighbors great owners. Would highly recommend well worth a visit
This is a well managed campground. We were at a sight that didn't have full hook-up (no sewer) and loved the site. It is on the river. Therefore, we used the very clean showers. The bathhouse is stocked with hand soap and paper towels. The space heater heated the bathroom nicely; it had a thermostat. The pic-nic tables are brand new. The family that manages it are lovely and all the children pitch in! We will go back and recommend it for others!
A beautiful campground. We loved the shade trees and large gravel sites. The owners family of pet ducks were an added attraction, greeting everyone. Easy access from highway and to other attractions. Our first visit to North Carolina and such a lovely clean area. We would certainly come here again, if we get the chance from Canada. Most helpful family and we enjoyed visiting with them. Highly recommend it ! Mel & Myrna Penney
Great campground we enjoyed our stay very much. The campground was very well maintained and had a very nice bathhouse and laundry room, the owners was very friendly and helpful,I can"t wait to stay again.
The Murphy/Peace Valley KOA welcomes the Neely Family and Peachtree Cove RV Park to our neighborhood. We certainly recommend camping here as a option when visiting or passing through Western North Carolina. 👍.
Such a nice place to stay. Each site is next to the river or the creek that runs through the property. Looked like every site had shade as well. The family works hard to keep the place well maintained and clean. We spent a month here.
This is a beautiful campground. The owners are helpful . It is the type of mountain setting you look for and it delivers with a creek, trees and a river.
This campground is under new ownership as of 2018. Reviews prior to that may be posted under this campground name but do not apply currently. At the risk of losing the benefits of having this campground nearly to ourselves, we feel compelled to give the new owners the highest accolades. They are extremely responsive and have really spiffed things up. The campground itself is quaint and lovely, with a good size creek running through it and bordering the Valley River on one side. It is easy access just off Hwy. 74 outside of Marble (between Murphy and Andrews). The family who runs the campground is anxious to please, and it is relected in their outstanding customer service. When we first hooked up, there was an issue with the 50 amp breaker. We hooked up to the 30 amp and called to let Patrick know. He had an electrician over the next day to fix it even though we told him there was no rush. The owners have a large family, and the kids help with grounds cleanup several times a week. It is a refreshing reminder that there are young people who still see the value of working hard and contributing to a common goal. The campground is in a great location for exploring Murphy, the Nantahala area, the scenic railroad, the casino, multiple mountain lakes, the Great Smoky National Park, and is not far from Blairsville/Hayesville shopping. In short, we love this little gem of a campground!
Creek side RV Park is a really cool park. The road is paved and the sites are gravel. They have full hookups and we got a rate of about $26 a night for 8 nights...can't hardly beat that! We'll be back for another stay.
Hello We have been missing NC. Love Peachtree Cove and the family that runs it! Looking forward to seeing you all in March. This RV park is lovely!
